India provides fewer laundry shops and the quality of service is different. Places near Ganges wash in the river and sometimes dry on the floor (which can be dusty), see the image:
Price of laundry service
The service is charged by number of peaces of clothes. A pair of socks will cost the same as a heavy jacket.
Quality of laundry service
Laundry is washed in cold water and there is no colour dividing of the clothes- no need for that since it’s washed in cold. And as mentioned, sometimes washing is done in the river.
